Kiev, Golden Gate

This is one of our favorite apartments to stay at when in Kiev! It´s an inexpensive large one room apartment with a double bed, extra folding couch, arm-chair, large and fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with an oval bath and mirror ceiling, separated bathroom, hall, and balcony.
Apartment equipped with cable TV (17 channels), music center (CD), electric kettle, refrigerator, gas-stove, microwave oven, washing machine, iron, ironing board, radiotelephone, and a hair dryer.

Zolotiye Vorota
The apartment is located in the historical center of Kiev, in its old town, in 5 minutes of walking from the metro station ???Golden Gates???. Close by there are the historical monuments: Golden Gates (11th c.), the ???St.Sophia of Kiev??? National Preserve with the St.Sophia Cathedral (11th c.) and the Bell Tower (17th c.), St. Volodymyr??™s Cathedral (19th c.). Just across the road there is the Theater Sqeare with the National Opera of Ukraine in the center of it. Kreschatyk and Independence Sq. are 10 minutes by walk. There are many cafes and restaurants, markets and supermarkets all over, few small restaurants and cafes where usually meet foreign people, close to the building located Irish pub, pizza, mini-market, fish store. This apartment is situated in an area where located many big international companies such as DTZ, Philip Morris, Panasonic, Reebok, Lufthansa, etc.. Also located nearby are Embassies of Austria, Czech Republic, Sweden, Belgium, Canada, Norway, Finland, France etc. For tourists this apartment is also ideal since it is located near famous Opera House and very popular Deja Vu Restaurant. Walking distance to the main sights: Golden Gate -5 min, Opera theatre - 10 min, St. Sophia cathedral - 5 min, Kreschatik street - 10 min, St. Mikhail cathedral - 7 min, Andrew desent -10 min.
