The drawings of the great Russian singer Fedor Ivanovich Shalyapin are on display in Moscow. Most people know the name Shalypin for being a world famous Russian singer, but not many know that he was a skilled graphic artists also.

Moscow authorities have promised to introduce English subtitles for theatre performances across the city. Now visitors will be able to enjoy Russian theatre along with its many other arts!

The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg recently unveiled "Flight into Egypt," by Italian Renaissance artist Titian, which was painted sometime in the early 1500s.

Last Friday an exhibition remembering animals' military role opened at the Artillery Museum in St. Petersburg. The display includes gas masks for horses, body armor for dogs and various accessories for pigeons, snakes and other animals.

Tonight the world famous Bolshoi Theatre will host it's grand reopening to the public after more than six years and $700 million spent on reconstruction. The theater's seats will once again be filled by spectators seeking the very best of culture Moscow and Russia has to offer.

On October 14th, Nazareth will play a concert in St. Petersburg. Nazareth is most famous for their mid 70s hit "Love Hurts," which became a classic. They're still touring, and while they'll definitely revisit their roots, they will also playing tracks from their latest album, "Big Dogz."
